Confused!

Dear All

One of my friend is asking for the following query.......i m also confused on a topic...........Please help me !

He is joining a new co. and co. is giving him salary breakup as follows:

Basic --4000

HRA----2000

SPl. ----7400

Travel---800

Total in hand salary----14200/-

EPF---480

ESI---674

Gratuity---192

What would be the gross salary & on what rate they are deducting the ESI?

 

Please clarify !

The Gross Salary for the employee will be the aggregate of Basic, Allowances and 

Deductions (if Any)......
