Conflict between mathadi act and contract labour act

In Maharashtra, mostly the contractor registered his firm in Mathadi Board and  supply the mathadi registered labour in organisation. Under such circumstances whether the contractor is mandatory to require the labour licence of ALC. As both i.e. Mathadi Board and ALC comes under the same ministry.

Yes, it is generally mandatory for a contractor to obtain a labour licence under the Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, 1970, if they meet the required workforce threshold, regardless of their registration with a Mathadi Board. The two Acts serve different legal purposes, and complying with the Mathadi Act does not provide a blanket exemption from the statutory licensing requirements of the CLRA Act.
