Compliance related Eway bill

Legal proceeding in regard to E-way is only if the Goods on way is check by Incharge officer , As of today the taxpayer need not provide any detail in this regard while filing the return . hence There is no legal boundation as such ,.... yes only in case of scurtiny , the tax officer may ask for such compliance.

Moving goods without the cover of an invoice and Eway bill constitutes an offence and attracts a penalty of Rs.10,000 or the tax sought to be evaded (whichever is greater).
