Hello - Got an automated email from Income Tax Deptt. with subject line 'Compliance - Incometax Return Filing' and asking to login to https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in.
After login and checking https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in, it says under compliance section 'AY 2011-12 Return Not received'
Checking my offline records does not help me with ITR acknowledgement ( My online a/c with IT deptt. is very recent one). My doubt is that I missed filing the return for the period.
Now e-Filing online system does not allow me to file my return for AY 2011-12
I don't have any additional tax liability for the year. Standard salaried class IT return.
What will be the way out? Ofcouse leaving this under compliance may not an option I guess?
