I know Beckers is supposed to be the best, but an expensive way of enrolling!! Can we enroll directly???, as in without any intermediary like Beckers???

Also, How should we choose the state for certification, for what i have heard is that the state u choose is the only one that u can practice in thereafter, forever!!

i also dont get what is "Official transcriptt" in ur article up???

Thanks for the info. I am AICWA , and have got my documents evaluated from foreign academics for Colarado State CPA. They said I am eligible. Now what shall be the next step.I should apply to Colardo CPA board or to Tennesse address.

Onemore thing can you help me in getting the material. As I am on H4 I am looking for cost effective methods.

Can any body guide me how to  get Foreign credential  assessment, Can I get eligiblility  from Foreign credential agencies  for US CPA Exam  from Colorado  Board on the basis of my ICWA+MBA(F) qualification. if anybody come across such situation, please leave message , if would be nice if I get mail contact or phone number

Hats of to you for this valuable information , i am also planning to do CPA now as i feel i am having sufficient time with my present job.

I have qualified my CA in 2007, after then i was confused that shall i go for CPA /CISA or MBA, but doing CPA is challenge for me i accept it first but i have a doubt before joining CPA that from 2011 onwards IFRS will become mandatory in India also from that perspective is it advisable do CPA because in my opinion at that time it really doesn't matter whether you are CA or CPA., knowledge of IFRS is a must. Sir, i am asking this by keeping in my mind job oppurtunities at that time after qualifying CPA.
