Quick Summary
If a government employee who regularly filed income tax passes away, it's understandable to inquire about potential claims or benefits from the Income Tax Department. However, based on the discussion, there are generally no specific benefits or claims that can be raised with the Income Tax Department for deceased taxpayers.

There will be no such benefits from income tax department for deceased tax payers.

No benefit for deceased person
