hi, will new companies bill applicable for ca final nov 2010, new course exam?
shoud i wait for buying law book as there are changes in companies act?

the new companies bill hasn't become an act till yet, so their is no question of thnking of buying any book related to that. but since ur attempt is in nov.10, new cmpanies bill might be applicable. in any case, institue will certainly make adequate notificaton in that regard later on as the new companies act would have to be understood and institute has to issue clarification as to its inclusion in the course.........

Yes, new Companies Bill will not be applicable for Nov, 2009 exam. The Companies Act, 1956 will be applicable for November 2009 CA Exam.

the companies bill was last year introduced last year before election (last yr.LOK SABHA Session) but due to election bill was not passed last year. Now in this LOK SABHA Session the bill is yet to be introduced and certainely it will take time to pass.
Therefore, it is quite difficult to say that the new ACT will be applicable for NOV.10. However chances are very less of applicability in NOV.10
