@ Pushpreet you must ask your Employer to change his form 16.
143(1)(a) is system based reply given by computer and not Humans.
Form 16 should contain salaried part and other income part

Hi Kapil,
1st i had received communication u/s 143(1)(a) communication.
Then I have responded to it by denying that and uploaded all the documents.
Now I got "Intimation U/S 143(1) for PAN...." message and next day refund also credited to my account.

I too got Communication u/s 143(1) (https://www.caclubindia.com/forum/details.asp?mod_id=410813&offset=8) 2 months back and I went ahead with e-proceeding to disagree with the proposed addition.
I got the proposed addition because I didn't delcare a 80C deduction of tution of children with the employer (form 16) but claimed it while filing the return.
The funny thing happened is that I gathered all the challans supporting my additional 80C claim and compiled it in a word document and saved it as Doc(x) in my computer but while uploading in e-Proceedings, I uploaded a totally different file! It contained totally irrelevent details to my claim and there was no other option to revert it. I then thought they would send another communication or something but surprisngly last week I got intimation stating that they have processed my return and refund will be done as well!
I'm pretty sure they have not verified the file that I've attached. Anyway I'm happy that it's over and I don't have to go behind it again.
Just wanted you guys to know. I'm sorry if it is totally irrelevent to this thread.
