Coaching classes not permissible between 9.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. - (28-01-2010)
Attention of the members is drawn to Announcements dated 27th March 2009 and 19th May 2009 hosted on website of the Institute wherein the decision of the Council with regard to, inter-alia, working hours and coaching hours have been notified.
  • Normal working hours for the articled assistants shall not start after 11.00 AM and not end before 5.00 PM.
  • Coaching classes shall not continue after 9.30 AM and not start before 5.30 PM so as to enable the articled assistants to concentrate wholly on practical training.
  • Members of the Institute who are engaged in coaching be advised not to undertake coaching between 9.30 AM and 5.30 PM.
It may be stated a member of the Institute, whether in practice or not, shall be deemed to be guilty of professional misconduct if he contravenes any provision of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 or the Regulations framed thereunder or any guidelines issued by the Council.

Instances have come to notice that some members of the Institute continue to take classes for the students of the chartered accountancy course even between 9.30 AM and 5.30 PM which is against the guidelines issued by the Council of the Institute.

Accordingly, members who are engaged in coaching of chartered accountancy course beyond permissible hours are put on notice that they should, in their own interest, desist from taking classes between 9.30 AM and 5.30 PM failing which proceedings in accordance with Section 21 read with 22 will be initiated against such members as deemed to be guilty of professional misconduct.

The Council in its 291st meeting held recently has decided that surprise visits be made by a team of officials headed by the respective DCO Heads to coaching classes venues to identify the members who are still engaged in coaching classes beyond the permissible hours for initiating disciplinary proceedings.

what an article would concentrate on his practical training.......... without allowing him to attend theory classes............. too bad......

:/I hope it will be a good news only and there is a concern which is expressed by Our President in this connection.Students were not giving any weightages for practical training rather for bunking the training and attending the cocahing classes...In this field , let me tell you cocahing will play a least role.....The concept of indepent will play more role...iam not against the coaching system....But why the students is not try to study own their own?

I will tell you my experience... since i had joined  the course, after bcom joined the CA course. There is many failure result of my friend...I thought perhaps attend the coaching or tution we can crack the course....I feel without the coaching i cannt success the course...

I had approached a famous teacher who was successful in accountancy...I begged him to teach me for CA...

But that was my turning point..There is a problem that class was not availed ,then i changed my mind set....Ca course is difficult to crack and no coaching is available...I bought shukla and greawal text book and a book of Plus 2...started the entry from plus 2...thorough the entry part .....fianly i was soo strong in fundamental...that is helped me  for good conceptual understanding of entried in CA level....

I cleared the PE2 without attending any coaching ...self study only....
But there was a problemd for costing...I failed 3 time..understand why i had failed in costing...corrected the same in fundamental level..concept level...That had helped me for my final level....MAFA,Cost in the final level....

What is a moral for you....

You need to develop some skills with respect to study....All the skills are with you and dormant..once the opportunity comes, you will realise it and achieve it

Thanks vivek for share your valuable expirance , i think it will be good news.

in one way,upa is like advani lalkrishna. lka duped indians in the name of ram mandir; and after getting power he didn't build one. Uttam ch***ya is doing the same in the name of dummy articleship.may you rest in hell.

it is not the institute to be blamed. It is uttam prakash agarwal.if one has read my previous posts; you can see i had been anticipating this from jan1. Before leaving the  post he is trying to damage our results.

Some of his supporters say that he may be doing so to increase pass pc.Results declare hone ke baad he can claim this. Suppose result if 10pc.UPA will say,"dekha; actually, pass pc was 7pc; i the great increased it to 10pc".
