public in case whr Govt is a substantial shareholder and
pvt in case whr individuals hold substantial.
In case of pvt co. the name shud bear ''(India) ltd.'' at the end.
Rectify if m wrong anywhr.

Hello Dipak,
Both Public as well as Private Ltd Co can be limited by shares, However there are some restrictions to Private Limited Co regarding issue of shares & prospectus.
