Closure/winding up of llp

Dear All,

There's an LLP which is being wound up because operations were not commenced. The LLP would like to strike off its name.

The Bank a/c of the LLP has been closed and hence capital transferred back to Partner's bank account. Therefore, in effect there are no assets and liabilities. On filing e-Form 24 with MCA, the form was returned with the following comment:

"Capital contribution cannot be zero.  Please resubmit with proper accounts details."

Could any of you please advise how to present the details? One of the suggestions given here: https://www.caclubindia.com/forum/urgent-llp-statement-of-accounts-445514.asp is to "Show capital balance on liability side and show the same amount as Dr. Balance of P&L"

Has anyone had any luck with this solution or any other solution?

Grateful for any assistance in this regard.

Kind regards

Ravi
