Can an employer close the Provedent Fund A/c of an employee without his assent?
If Yes, then what is the redressal available with the employee.

In my opinion its not possible. However, you will have the option to withdraw from your PF Account without the consent of your employer. If it is a company owned PF Trust, then you may need to look at the Trust rules whether or not the company have the rights to withdraw without your consent, in other cases, they will not have right to do so.
