excess input was claimed on igst column of eligible ITC ,can we reverse that excess tax on coming month.have any options.

Can one reverse ITC on credit note issued by vendors for reversed goods. The ITC reversal column has only 2 items. The first is under Sec 42/43 that is for personal items calculated as per rule and the second is others which has to be filled only in case government notifies what is to be filled. I do not think you can use this column for reversals of errors and returns under credit note. Reversals for Credit notes and corrections it seems can only be done through GSTR 2A and GSTR 2 that is currently not possible to file, especially for Jan and Feb as they can be filed only once vendor files GSTR 1 for Tax Invoices and Credit Notes.
