Claiming LTA not in form 16, how to attach proof

Hi, How to claim LTA deduction if its not taken care in form 16 , can i claim in ITR 1 (which section ) ? but how to attach proof (tickets,..)?

you need not attach tickets, the returns are annexureless. You keep the proofs wiith you , it may be required during queries from AO in assessment.

YES, you can claim it. By deducting the amount from Salary Income and showing the NET SALARY in ITR-1.  At the end of the FORM there is one CELL askinh for total amount of exempted Income(s). In that colum/Cell you show the total Exemptions including this LTA.

Yes, You must keep some evidence for the expenditure incurred by you. If your Return is selected for scrutiny, you have to produce the evidence to ITO (AO).
