Claim received on house insurance against flood is a capital receipt. Under what section of Income tax shall be the same treated as exempt?

Hi Rakesh,
Insurance amount received on house is taxable u/s 45(1A) it is not an exempt income under sec10. You can get relief u/s 54, etc. by investing.
