If you have filed that return then, you must file new X M L under e file option under rectifucation tab. Then select order to be rectified and assessment year and finally select the Return dara correction XML and file it.
The return would be processed and after receiving the intimation you will get additional TDS as refund.

You can also physically sign the ITR-V form generated online and submit it to Income tax processing centre within specified timeline (within 120 days of return filing). Usually, due date for income tax return filing is July 31stevery year unless extended by the Income Tax Department.

Fresh claim of TDS comes under revised return. See the applicable date for your AY and file fresh return under section  139(5).

If the date is over file an application with Ward ITO for additional claim of refunds under section  119(2)(b). Once you get permission then file return u/s 119(2)(b).

Hi everyone, i have doubt in income tax return. i have filed ITR 1 for AY 19 -20. i sent through Post to CPC bengaluru. after 5 days i have received message like that we have received your ITR will be processed. then after 5 days i got one notice from IT department 143(1) intimation notice in which no demand or any query did not ask. it is stated everything matched with IT computation. then i went to login it is shown ITR processed. E verification is also has verified. but final return is not showing. it is showing this is not proof of having filed return. now what to do friends. pls help me to further proceed?
In case time limit for revised return has expired what is the best option available?
as said earlier file new X M L and further select schedule tds.

You should go to your ward officer and submit an application for additional claim of refunds u/s 119(2)(b). You have to say that a TDS is missed and you are claiming it . After scrutiny you will get permission for filing revised return u/s 119(2)(b).
