I am paying rent where I am staying , also paying home loan for a flat which I have purchased . Both are in the same city but different location, also I have not started to stay in the same flat which I have purchased .
Can I claim both the exemtion HRA as well as Home loan Interest.
Both deduction of HRA and interest on housing loans are independent deductions. You can definitely claim deductions of both.
