On 6th October 2017, GST Council reduces tax rates on 27 goods including unbranded ayurvedic medicines or preparation to 5%

for Branded ayurvedic medicines........... GST rate remains 12%......

First prepared the formulation for Chyawan Rishi at his Ashram on Dhosi Hill in India, hence the name Chyawanprash.

It is an Ayurvedic preparation mainly contains vitamin C.... useful to increase immunity.& memory The number of herbs used may vary from 25 to 50 but the main ingredient of all  Chyawanprash is amla and Sugar.

Other chief ingredients are:

• Round zedoary
• sandalwood
• sesame oil
• Spreading hogweed
• Tiger's claw or Ice plant 
• Wild black gram
• Wild green gram  etc......
