Cheque bounce

Dear Concerned,

Employer issued cheque on a/c of full and final salary but the cheque bounced twice.Employer issued relieving letter also.

Can an employee file case in consumer court for cheque bounce.

Amount is Rs.10000/- only.

Or employee file case against cheque bounce in labour court?

Thanks & Regards

Mukesh

file complaint in labour court

The amount is irrelevant but focus the tension & upsets since could not able to meet out monthly commitments based on the salary. Claim more so that compensation will able to meet your requirements after a delay where interest loss is also there if you have to arrange money elsewhere.

Employee has to file complain in district court to judicial magistrate or labour court

Employee filed complained in Labour Court.Labour Inspector issued notice giving 15 days time to appear. But labour court sent notice for salary not paid.

Is the same will cover cheque bounce complain?

Thanks

Mukesh

If you want to file a cheque bounce case against your company or firm, the people you can file the cheque bounce case against are the directors and/or partners of the company or firm. You could even file a cheque bounce case against the firm or company.file at labour court
