After theCompaany ordiance 2018, the power of creation of charge under section 87 has been removed. 

In General now, the Charge shall be registered within a period of 60 days from the date of creation of charge. If the Company fails to create the charge within the period of 60 days, then Company allows the further period of 60 days with additional late fees. But even after the period of 120 days , the charge cannot be registered.

But if the Charge is not satsified within the period of 300 days as per section 85 of the Companies Act 2013, then the CG has the power to satisfy the Charge under section 87 after complying with the formalities of condonation of delay for satisfaction of charge
