Now i am going to join a articleship in jodhpur ..a small firm is here
but after 6 months i will change the firm ,...i will apply in big firm
i have heard there is no restriction regarding this
but the problem is
will my time get reduced by doing this ...?? :(
matlab shuru se articleship shuru ho jayegi n final ka attempt waste ho jayega ...aisa??
ya fir 6 months ek small firm me ..aur baki k 2.5 years dusri big 4 me ..

No Yashika. Nothing like this happens. Every period served as an article in any firm (be it small or big) gets counted. So dont worry.
My advice would be to go for big firm right from the beginning.
Agree with nitin, your every day of artcileship is recorded in 3 years so there's no fear to re_continue artcileship at new firm from beginning @

Its so easy to say that you wanted to transfer after 6months of training at your small firm. But who knows what kind of boss he is? If he is good then no problem. And yes, there is no restriction from ICAI in first year of articleship for transfer to other firms. But, for this transfer to happen, remember, your small firm Principal MUST agree for transfer. Then only transfer will be accepted by ICAI. Hope you got my point. Think carefully before joining. All the best.
