Hi firends , CA s .......

I have cleared PE-1 in May 07 batch and will appear for PCC in May 09 . So I am in a dilemma whether I should take up Articles in sone big company or small firm as my aim for the next year is definitely to clear PCC . So I fell that now I should get into some small firm and after clearing PCC might be I can get into some big co ...... Will it be a wise decision ?? Pls give your opinions .........

I should recommend you to try for big firms because it could be very late after passing PCC than you can get articleship in big firms. Moreever if you are hardworking then you can pass even if u have joined big firms.

Please go in for the top firms... Need not only be Big 4/ Big 6. Gives you a step ahead over other post qualification if you are looking at a life in the corporate sector. In case you look at profession from your end, you can always work for 50% of the articleship in big 4 and then decide.

hi i am sapna from chennai.i am doing my articles and have cleared p.e2. i would advice u to join in some medium sized firm which has a good repo. there u wil get to learn as well prepare for the exams too.

Thanks a lot friends ...... I have applied in the top 2 big firms and a few medium sized firms as well ...... Let me hope that I get into the place which is right for me ........... !!
