Respected professionals
please tell me if a business entity registered as e-commerce seller for sale of goods .Then wants to start following services
1.sale of online advertisement as a middlemen
2.courier services as a middlemen.
in above case please tell me he will required to take separate registration or can add hsn only

Under ONE GST Registration various business can be done within same State. No compulsion to take separate GST Registration within same State.

 

 Separate GST Registration  can also be taken. Its voluntary

But my registration is not normal .It is registration under e commerce seller. and now i wants to sale courier services.
and advertisement.

You can do those businesses under the same registration or you can also take separate registration. Both options are available...

If i go for same registration then i have to update hsn number only or add new trade business and hsn.

If it is under one roof just change the objective of business and intimate the authorities . No need of separate registration.

If you go for same registration and you want work with the existing trade name then add only hsn in registration amendment. And if you want to have a separate trade name then add both trade name and hsn
