Changes in dir-3 form

Your query is well founded but please note that the form DIR-3 is now titled "Application for allotment of Director Identification Number before appointment in an existing company." the form earlier was titled "Application for allotment of Director Identification Number"

Due to the certain new inductions announced on 26th of January, new DINs are to be obtained along with filing of SPICe form for incorporation.

Kindly look up the revised procedure.

Thank u so much for the reponse. Can u please metion how are new DINs to be obtained alongwith efiling of SPICe form as the form can be filed without DIN. Is it so that the company must be incorporated first and then DIN is to be applied for?

you can apply din in spice 32 itself

Nisha, 

Pursuant to the revised form SPICe (INC-32) in Item No. 6 – Information is required regarding subscribers/directors having Valid DIN and not having Valid DIN.

For persons not having DIN at the time of applying for incorporation mention their numbers in the columns earmarked.

As soon as you enter the Number in the prescribed column , the corresponding fields of “(d) *Particulars of individual first subscriber(s) cum directors” shall appear in the form, this is where to you fill all the details as you were supposed in form DIR – 3.

The requisite attachments shall be attached at the fields provided at the bottom of the form.

Since this is a new introduction I suggest that you should take assistance of a CS for a smooth operation.

You should select the form DIR 3 under LLP forms , and while submitting the form, choose the head LLP filing, it should allow you to file for DIN.

Kindly try to upload the respective forms.

It should accpet it and in case it returns any error try talking to the helpdesk.

Hello , 

While applying for DPIN for an LLP in form DIR 3 , it asks for the CIN of the company with which the proposed director is going to be associated . But in the case of an LLP , CIN is not available and the field is not accepting its LLPIN. How to proceed ? Please advise .

Can anyone let me know whether Aadhaar Card is compulsory for NRI Director having Indian Passport and  citizen of India for filing DIR 3.

I have went through the compulsion requirement of Aadhaar Circular, This says that, it should not be mandatory for an NRI. And still MCA requires it, why is it so?

In case you have marked citizenship as Resident in India only then you are required to mention your aadhaar no. with attachment as well and not otherwise.
