Change of Regd Office at the time of incorporation

672 views 1 replies

Hi,

At the time of filing form 1A for name approval the registered office of the company was filled in to be situated in the state of Haryana. Now the promoters have decided to place the regd office in Delhi. At the time of filing incorporation documents, in form 1 it is prefilled as Haryana and rates for e-stamp duty is as per the states of Haryana.

My query is that is it possible to change the R.O of the company to be formed,?. In our case the Registrar of companies for haryana and delhi are same. if it possible then how can we pay the e-stamp for delhi when it is by default picking up the rates as per haryana state.

You can change the registered Office of Company in Form 1 itself by Filing Form 68 for rectification of error in Form 1 or Form 1A as required filed by You. However it can be done within 365 days from the the date of approval of Form No. 1.

For details of Form 68 & procedure thereof kindly refer the notification of MCA for the same as per below link.
