Which amount????
My entire principal amount

do you mean you want to change the asset allocation or fund manager?

then the answer is NO.

Please elaborate your question?

I mean to say that I have my fund in a segment and I want to transfer my portfolio to another segment like say from debt to equity. So then will the amount so transferred be taxable?

No it should not be taxable.

Which type of account you are maintaining in NPS ie Tier 1 or Tier 2.
