We have changed of Our LLP name in PAN and GST Portal,
However the Person who is giving TDS Certificate to us, name showing as with Old name(We are also having the TAN No. with Old name ).
Please suggest us how can we change name in TDS Certificate from we are receiving. ??
The name is not typed manually on the certificate but is auto populated from the PAN database, so unless updated properly by the tax department, this is bound to happen.
But honestly it doesn't matter. The name is irrelevant, so long as the PAN/Tan are correct. And if you can see the credit on your 26AS then there's nothing to worry about at all.
