Is it necessary to inform previous CA while accepting audit of a Proprietory Concern?

Yes it is very much advisable to inform previous CA befor accepting the assignment simply by sending a letter. His approval is not required. But there must be sufficient proof that you have sent the intimation to the previous auditor.
