Change in status while revision of return?

Hi,

Is it possible to change the status example "AOP" to "Cooperative Housing Society" while revising the income tax return?

We had bychance filed it under the status of AOP n now we want to revise it?

Doubt 2 - Do we have to do physical submission in case the software doesn't permit us to revise the status?
