I was working for a MNC until Sep 2011.
Oct 2011 I have started my software business with me being the sole properitor.
My query is for financial year 2011-12 will I have to fill ITR1 or ITR4 ?
Please guide ...

ITR 4. because ITR 1 is for only salary income.
You shall have to file ITR - 4, as it covers both Salary Income as well as Business Income.
