Hi friends , i am facing a problem regarding e-tds filling. Actually there is query regarding the tds filled in the first quater. An intimation letter is received from Income tax dept that there is a short payment of tds . But actually we paid the said tax , but when we going to revised the return it shows that challan as over booked . Please help me to solve this proble.
Prepare a letter for reply of such notice stating that you have already deposited said TDS and attach copy of such TDS challan, as short payment may be due to mismatch of challan..
By attaching challan the Short Payment issue will resolve.
