Akanksha Gupta (Company Secretary) 08 June 2017
My query is that the Chairman of the Company lives abroad and may not be able to attend the AGM physically. The Secretarial Standards suggest that shareholders may attend the AGM through video conferencing.
However, is it possible that the Chairman or any other Director attends the meeting through Video conferencing? Or their physical presence is mandatory? It is a Private Limited Company.
Request you to please shed some light on this.
Thanks and Regards

Video conferencing is very important for me because it joins my colleagues from work who would not normally be able to form a face-to-face connection and we discuss the main issues and future strategy plan of our company . The Zoom app https://zoomappdownload.com become the most popular and useful software in businesses, it increase productivity and provide an improved way of communicating .I think that is wouldn't be a problem if the chairman o fthe company will attent the conference in online . It's a usual thing in many big companies .
