My query is regarding Chairman of Shareholders meeting of Pvt Co.
As per rules only a shareholder can be chairman of General Meeting. My doubt is can a person who is a joint holder of shares and his name is second in the member's register be the Chairman?
The person's whose anme appears first has various rights of a shareholder while the second person does not but there is no specification for this right.

If the first joint holder is no available then all rights of that person will be vested to the 2nd joint holder..
So in my view yes 2nd joint holder can be chairman if first jint shareholder is not there.
