I need to file dir 12 for independent director, on expiry of two consecutive terms. What should be the evidence of cessation???

Director will counter file DIR -11,So,DIR-12 is an intimation by company while DIR -11 by concern director, To keep you on safe side, At next board meeting you can take note of Cessation of I/D ,Also at the time of appointment his tenure is written down in resolution, You can also maintain office copy of intimation to director concerned for completing his tenure.
