Cenvat Credit of Service Tax after Show Cause Notice

except GTA service (outward) u can take credit, GTA outward services are not eligible for cenvat credit, as those are not input services .

You are providing service and failed to pay service tax. Now you are under show cause notice that service tax to be paid. there are some input service used for providing the service . Doubt is about cenvat credit eligibilty. Yes, if you opt to pay tax , you can claim cenvat credit in respect of the input sevices.
