if a construction/infra company uses inputs(like., cement, steel and others} for construction of a bridge, and sale some steel and other componants as scrap{at the end of the year}, then can we take cenvat credit {which paid on inputs} against duty payable on sale of scrap?
Since construction of bridge is not a manufacturing activity, so you can not take any credit on inputs and you are also not required to pay duty on the scrap.
