Cenvat credit
hi ,
for an individual who is not a real estate person -can the Service tax paid on the residential complex construction be taken as Cenvat credit on the renting of the immovable property service . please advice quoting related case laws if any . Thanks in advance

No you can't claim CENVAT credit because of renting of immovable property of residential nature is exempt from the levy of service tax.
