Cenvat credit

Pls go through the definition of "input" and "input service" under Cenvat Credit Rules, 2004.  If any item which does not fall under the above definitions, they you are not eligible to avail cenvat credit.

Further you would also have to refer to the definition of exempted services under Rule 2(e) of the Cenvat Credit Rules, 2004 and Rule 6 of the same.
