Central excise registration for branch

Dear All,

Kindly clarify the following:-

We have a factory at bangalore with the small shed. Now we have taken a new shed for rent in nearby since the old factory space is very less.We have put some additional machines in the new shed and there is no direct commercial transaction like billing etc from the new shed.

My question is that, whether we have to register with Central excise dept as branch and should we get any new registration number from them.

Pls Clarify.
