YES, U CAN APPEAL AGAINST SEC143 (1)- INTIMATION ,
UNDER SEC 246A if u refer to bare reading of bare act u will come to know that it can be appealed.

i think b4 asking sm1 u hv to read the bare act by yrself... means u can't file appaeal against 143(1).. coz it is not an order, bt u can appeal against the final order received for the same...

U think that way but i always bel that before i advise or ask som1 i my self check it then only ask som1 to refer it,...got it?..personally i hav referred to bare act for exam preparation ans also for practical assessments???????got it?mr senior audit executive....

Dear One,
Assessee Can Now File Appeal Against CPC for TDS Statement, So This Post is Not Regard to CPC Income Tax Intimation U/s 143(1).
An Appeal Against Intimation 143(1) Can Be Filled from Long Time, (Not After This Amendment), This Amendment is No Relation With Intimation 143(1).
Intimation under section 143(1) can be appealed under section 246A (1)(a) before the CIT (Appeals). For the procedure pl see form 35 and rule 45 and 46 of Income tax Rules,1962.

Hi,
An intimation received u/s 143(1) for AY 2011-12 in which TDS has not been considered and demand has been raised by dept. In this case I am not able to file online rectification as CPC says the case has been forwarded to local jurisdiction. Pls suggest what can be done further in this case.
Can online appeal be filed u/s 246A ? If yes or no pls let me know the procedure
