CBDT notifies new ITR forms for Ay 2021-22

The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has officially notified all Income Tax Return (ITR) forms, from 1 to 7, for the Assessment Year 2021-22. Importantly, the Income Tax Department has confirmed that there are no significant changes compared to the previous year's forms. This update means taxpayers can proceed with filing their returns for the Financial Year 2020-21, provided the necessary Excel utilities or compatible private software for XML generation are available.
