As elections are approaching very fast, I am enthusiastic to use my vote.A couple of weeks back, I received my voter ID card. Though I was quite reluctant to register my name in voters list earlier, I now realised the value of vote. Because, even a single vote decides somebody's fate.
Nearly 50% of the total population in India are young people. Of which only 50% people registered their name in voters list. In those 50% people who registered, only 25% people are casting their vote. Its really a shameful part on our youth. Most of the youth are unwilling to register for vote and even some young minds who registered feel voting is mere waste of time. My dear friends, can u still call yourself a citizen of a particular country when you don't utilise your right and when you don't discharge your duty/responsibility towards your country.
Remember onething! casting vote is not only your right but also its your responsibility. In a democratic country like India, what stops you from performing your duty and using your right?
In a present scenario like where terror attacks are showing security loopholes, recession is ruling the economy, political power games and personal favours are corrupting governments, primary and foremost duty of casting vote to make a better decision to choose the right candidate should come into your mind.
So.. friends! Lets us join hands together to caste our vote to eligible candidate
-to elect a better government
-to make India a safe place to live in
-to drive India towards socio-economic growth
Caste your vote for yourself. Your vote can make a difference.
