I have made payments by cash in 2006-07 for construction of house of around 15 lacs. have agreement and bank statement to support. Is there any issue in claiming it as cost of acquisition now.
Not sure if there were strict penalities and issues in dealing with cash then. From which year were cash transactions beyond certain limit restricted. fyi I am individual
