Cash in hand calculation for salaried

Tax planning 609 views 1 replies

I am a salaried person from last 10 years. Filing Income tax every year. I understand that, whatever money I have earned through salary is white money cause IT file has been done for them. Now, my question is - How much cash can I keep with me? I heard that there is a way to prepare Balance sheet & calculate the cash amount I am allowed to keep/show. Please shed some light on this. Thank you.

hello Mr.BK see there is no issue to keep any amount of cash in hand, but generally cash is considered not be kept without use for long time,
hence we generally deposit it to bank or invest or expense it
further yes you can definitely make a balance sheet of yours so that "actual" cash in hand position can be summarised for ur better.
if u want to create balance sheet u can ping me anytime, i wud be happy to help.
