If a Company is not willing to show the physical cash available with them to confirm the year ending balance, then what should be done?
Can we get a letter from the client asking them to the confirm the year ending balance, duly signed by the appropriate authority?
if yes is there any format for the same?
Or any other alternative available?
Yes.. a certificate of cash balance as on 31st March to be obtained from the client.
The format could be a simple 2 liner like :
To whomsoever it may concern
This is to certify that a sum of Rs. *******/- (Rupees *****************************Only) was lying as cash balance with us on 31/03/20**.
