Cash balance refund

Hi,

What are the documents required to be attached in refund application for claiming refund of "Excess Cash balance in Cash Ledger" ?

Refund amount is Rs 18,000/- .

No document required as attachment for Cash balance refund. How ever a request letter may be uploaded as attachment.

Refund of balance in electronic cash ledger doesn't require any documents. Select the reason while applying for refund

Can attach the cash ledger PDF copy as practically sometimes being asked although not mandatory.

You can better attach the related documents as to why this amount got accumulated in the cash ledger - may be due to TDS/ TCS or excess payment.

Reason which has to be selected for filing refund application . For electronic cash ledger refund no attachments are required.

If it required then attach tax paid challan
