We actually have very good knowledge and exposure in taxation and other areas to establish start ups.. But we lack managerial and administrative skills. This statement is a bit unacceptable but still if we are given more training in those areas i am sure we can be very much successful.. Also financial conditions of people force them to take up a job rather establishing organisations...

I think now a days students joining CA course have a mind set from the beginning, that CA get CA degree and earn lots of money. Therefore after clearing final they start earning money without knowing the descripttion of work.

While studying CA we are concentrating how to pass but while studyiy Mba etc there is opportunity for creativity thoughts with enjoyment and freedom and no fear of exams. In Mba most of the time spends on current global issues and more concentration on news papers, magazines, but while studying CA forget all what is happening in the home, country, and world even on his own health. No place for creativity in CA course.

The grooming and smartness an mba student develops in his course is far better than a ca student. At the time we are struggling with numbers and entries, they learn directly on field. Public speaking, industrial visits, projects are their assets. They are made to think out of the box. At articleship we come across hundreds of different kinds of business but we tend to only strict our minds to their financials. I believe CAs can prove to be better at business if institute includes some of the aspects of mba training like making business projects, studying the core business rather than just its financials. Also the students need to broaden their horizon

Majority of CAs(90% of them) lack good skills like entrepreneurship, good communication skills, etc which handicaps their potential!

Hi Raghav Ji, You v raised very imp question CA faternity. According to market situation we have to change our future aspects. Acting as an innovative entrepreneur is itself very exciting opportunity for CA's. CA's having knowledge in areas of Accounts, Finance, Planning & Management, Cost Management & Project financing. Yes, there r some areas where we have to nurture ourself, bt that is not so difficult to think about & implement. If there is will, there is way.....This is our learning period for new CA'S. It will take some time bt knowledge we get is unspeakable. Days will come, in industry CA will b named as entrepreneur also............THINK TODAY MADE UR 2MARROW CA Mosim Patel Practising CA.

I do not agree to this......its not about being a CA or not, its about the prerogative and the perception.....I agree the course is tough and doesnt provide any financial stability untill and unless you clear the exam, but if you look closely how many business models you come across during your trainig period.....u get u learn the nitty gritties of varuous business types.......is it not sufficient enough for every ca student to learn and develop a new business model......it is not.......it is certainly not.... If u believe in yourself, if u have d confidence, den a monthly remuneration of 50k bugs wont stop you from trying ur luck at the one thi g u have always wanted to do. Dont b a sitting duck.. Try atleast....failure doesnt matter. Try matters

As per my opinion issue is with curriculum of CA,CS and CMA. Course and training is designed in such a way that students never get acumen of entrepreneurship. From the day one it is tought directly or indirectly that we have to do either job or have to setup practice. I think institute should conduct seminar to educate buddying professionals about entrepreneurship.
