CAs can acquire membership in ICAEW

ICAI has signed an MOU with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Wales on reciprocal arrangement . This will open up the flood gate of oppertunities to indian CAs to acquire membership of ICAEW and work in UK. Please post your views!!!!

 it will be interesting to see how many exemptions do they give to indian CAs...

It is a good move to bacome a  Globel Chartered Accountant.

It is really good opportunity to work in UK for providing professional services as Chartered Accountant. We will have greater experience and enable us to become global consultant.

dear friends, let us first know the full form of ICAWE.  It is the Institute of Chartered Accountants of  England and Wales  but not the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and England.  Please correct in submissions.

does anyone know anyone whos become an ACA after the mou? is ACA in England as worthwhile as CA is in India?

Is there anyone who sat ICAEW exams from India?
