One of the clients has filed ITR for AY 2020-21 on 08th December 2020 with some short-term loss. I am aware that date was extended for TAx filing, but just have a query whether this loss was allowed to be carried forward and setoff in this year?
If the tax return was filed within the extended deadline then the same should be allowed to be carried forward
