Hi, I am a CA working in a bank for the past three years now. Wanted to have a little info on the careers that can be explored by CA’s in Investment Banking. Can anyone please share your views on the same.

Hi Soumya,
There are lot of options in Investment Banking which can be explored by CA's like Mergers and acquisitions and merchant banking. There are companies like Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan etc looking for CA's. Howeever they always prefer experienced people.And also, nowadys you will find institues in Mumbai gearing up with courses in IB.
You can join any of the companies engaged in fund accounting, stock brokerage or investment mangagement, then move to these companies after a year experience.
